This is my 26th year teaching and my 21st here at Sand Hill.  I played a variety of sports in high school:  Softball, Basketball, Tennis and ran Cross Country. In college I played softball on scholarship at the University of West Georgia all 4 years while I was working on my bachelor's degree. I currently hold three degrees: Bachelors of Science in Physical Education and Health K-12; Masters in Early Childhood Education and a Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction.

I am married to Adrian Terrell and we have two daughters.  My oldest daughter is a sophomore at Augusta University now on a softball scholarship studying to be a kindergarten teacher. My youngest is a junior at Bremen High School. I have coached many levels of sports including high school, middle school, rec ball and travel ball teams but now spend my time enjoying watching my girls at their activities.   We also have two Australian Heeler dogs; Chief and Daisy Mae.

I have always loved sports and it is still a very important part of both mine and my family's life.  We do not have to like the same things.  For example my girls both love sports but completely different ones.  One always loved and played softball, basketball and soccer while the other one loves golf and competition baton twirling. It is my hope that I can help students to love sports just the same.
